***Please note, as of December 2023, my schedule is full and I am not accepting new clients.***

I am a Clinical Psychologist providing individual psychotherapy in private practice in Greenfield, Massachusetts. My specialties include trauma and PTSD, mind-body health, chronic pain, substance use, and ADHD, as well as issues related to the queer, trans, poly, and kink communities.

THERAPY: My approach generally integrates cognitive-behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, psychodynamic, culturally-conscious, Narrative, and somatic therapies. I also offer specialized, time-limited CBT treatments for insomnia, ADHD, and chronic pain. I bring an explicitly anti-oppression, anti-racist, and anti-diet culture lens to my work. Central to this approach is an understanding that mind, body, and world are inextricably interwoven. To consider one without awareness of the others is to further the goals of white supremacy. I believe therapy can be many things and one of those things is moving towards liberation.

BACKGROUND: I lived and worked at the intersection of mind-body-society health and justice for many years before returning to school to study psychology. Those roles included trauma-informed bodyworker, rape crisis counselor, immigration paralegal, and high school teacher, among others. I began working towards
my doctorate in clinical psychology at The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California in 2013. I have since provided psychotherapy to a diverse range of people in medical clinics, residential substance abuse, intensive outpatient programs, community mental health outpatient clinics, as well as the Northampton VA, where I completed a year-long, full-time internship.

INSURANCE: I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts, Medicare, Health New England, Optum/UBH, and the various plans covered under Beacon including MBHP.

COVID POLICY: Sessions are available in-person and via telehealth. To protect our community, I request that anyone attending sessions in-person is vaccinated. If either of us is experiencing cold or flu symptoms on the day of your session, we will shift to telehealth for the day. This policy allows for masks to be optional during in-person sessions.
